Cure4CF Foundation - Developing a cure for Cystic Fibrosis

Cure4CF Foundation Limited was established to promote the control of cystic fibrosis in children and adults. The Foundation raises community awareness of cystic fibrosis and enlists support to fast-track research to human trials and eventually a cure. The Foundation is governed by a Board of 6 directors with expertise in CF research and patient care, charity management and corporate management, and is assisted by a Company Secretary.

Cure4CF Foundation supports the leading gene therapy research at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Support is gained from corporate sponsors and individuals. Funds are used to purchase critical therapeutic aids and equipment to advance the research effort. The Foundation also supports scientists with scholarship funds and assistance to attend valuable collaborations with overseas CF research centres.

Cure4CF Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. This means that it is a very low cost charity and supporters can be confident that their donations deliver the maximum benefit. The Foundation has been endorsed as a Heath Promotion Charity by the Australian Tax Office and donations are tax deductible.
